The Safari Briefing
Experienced by Sue & Preston.
We were approached by a stunning couple with a real passion for exploration as they were celebrating life, love and bucketlist ticking. They were seeking an authentic experience in South Africa and had a preference for smaller boutique owner run style properties and heritage to give a flavour and insight to a place. No frill facilities like swimming pools, jacuzzi or spas were needed as they wanted to explore the local area rather than spend time at the accommodations, plus it would help to keep costs down and within budget. In terms of destinations and locations, they wanted to lean on our expertise to find the ultimate itinerary. Originally guests were happy to self drive yet that changed when they saw our creation!
This was a fun one to create and what we took from the briefing was unforgettable experiences and maximum time to explore within the two week window with comfortable, authentic properties that don’t indulge in the fancy extras that you only end up paying for! Many of our favourite properties in Africa are owner run and managed by passionate and committed staff. So we worked hard to find availability in properties that would deliver the brief and hopefully exceed expectations of guests.
