The Safari Briefing
Experienced by Alicja & Dean.
A really lovely young couple approached us at one of the travel shows in Melbourne seeking a set departure style trip to keep within a small budget. Whilst we do have a selected number of small group trips, we knew that it was possible to meet budget and time parameters on a private tailormade safari holiday.
We combined great safari specials, a diversity of accommodation styles from tented to larger hotels and boutique lodges with a fantastic private guide in Kenya and Tanzania to ensure the safari component met and exceeded expectations.
Then the beach finale was added on with time in Stone Town to explore the laneways and markets plus five nights on the East coast for a barefoot Robinson Crusoe style beach holiday. Dean was a diver and wanted to be close to the best reefs. Whilst Zanzibar does have the Matemwe Atoll, it’s not nearly as colourful and active as sites Dean had already been to. So this component let him down slightly due to the over fishing.
