A gorgeous couple approached us with a passion to see and explore Botswana in depth. Wanting to avoid busy areas and tourist traps, we focussed our efforts on a slower paced itinerary to allow the couple the opportunity to completely immerse themselves in the wilderness and experience the rhythm of daily life in the bush.
The regions we focused on were selected based on great wildlife at the time of year guests wanted to travel and exceptional properties with talented guides and tracker teams on each vehicle for big wildlife viewing.
Linyanti Reserve, Kwando River and the Okavango Delta were explored for 3 nights each, flying in between before heading south to cosmopolitan Cape Town to wash of the safari dust, dine at internationally renowned restaurants and savour the world class wines.
We had a great trip and it meet all of our expectations! We were really happy with our guides and accommodation was very good.
It was quite hot in Botswana and there was no fan in one of the camps, so you just had to find a shady spot, breeze and cold drink. The VIP service on arrival from Maun to then transfer to Cape Town was excellent and helped ease any worries about missing flights! Thanks again for everything Encompass Africa.
